Some dogs don't just find a home — they find their people.

Meet Diesel, a one-and-a-half-year-old shepherd mix whose boundless loyalty and playful spirit are searching for exactly the right family to call his own.

Diesel carries himself like a dog who takes his responsibilities seriously.

He stations himself at the front door, keeping a watchful eye on who comes and goes — though a well-timed treat has a way of turning his suspicion into full-on tail wags.

He has shared his world with children and other dogs, and by all accounts, he has thrived in that environment.

What he wants more than anything is simple: a ball, a yard, and someone who shows up for him every single day.

For families exploring dog adoption in Olympia, WA, Diesel represents exactly the kind of second chance that makes the entire process worthwhile.
