At Anesis Olympia, we specialize in interventional pain management focused on identifying and treating the source of pain. Our experienced providers offer advanced treatments including image-guided injections, nerve blocks, radio frequency ablation, and minimally invasive procedures performed in both clinic and our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). We are committed to evaluating new patients promptly and working closely with referring providers to ensure continuity of care. Our goal is to improve function, reduce pain, and help patients return to daily life with safe, effective, and personalized treatment plans.

Board certified in Gastroenterology. Completed his medical residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center followed by GI fellowship at the University of Washington.

Dr. Zhang left her Midwest roots to start her GI career here in Olympia in 2008. She balances a busy family life with her calling to be a physician.

Dr. Joe’s career started in Olympia in 1997. He completed an MS in Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington to expand his knowledge of healthcare management. Dr. Joe is well known for his easy-going style, including no neck ties from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Dr. Richard Elloway is a board certified gastroenterolgist practicing in Olympia, WA. Dr. Elloway treats digestive health and liver conditions in addition to performing procedures such as colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

Dr. Owens started his GI career in his hometown, Olympia, in 2009 after completing an additional year of GI fellowship to specialize in advanced GI technologies. Since then, he has provided specialized advanced procedure services, such as Endoscopic Ultrasound, to our community.
