Since 2004, Pole at Play has taught kindred spirits the art of exotic pole dance in downtown Olympia. Each month, we offer Pole Dancing 101, a 4-week series of group classes specifically for brand spankin’ new students. But what makes Pole at Play really special is our beautiful community. Johansen Olympia Dance Center has been offering high quality dance training in a positive and nurturing environment for over 50 years. Classes offered include ballet, creative dance, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, jazz, toddlers, babies, stretch & strengthen, Flamenco, African and more. JODC is also the home of Ballet Northwest, a non-profit dance company that performs The Nutcracker at the Washington Center.

Studio West is the South Sound's Premier Dance Studio offering professional dance instruction in our 10,000 sq ft stat of the art facility. Our mission is to provide quality dance training in a nurturing atmosphere to students of all ages and abilities. The primary goal of the academy is to instill self-confidence while developing self-discipline, flexibility, grace and artistry in every student. Studio West believes maintaining a wholesome environment will create accomplished dancers and beautiful people. As we guide our students during their dance exploration, it is our goal to instill a love and passion for dance that will last a lifetime.
