Johansen Olympia Dance Center has been offering high quality dance training in a positive and nurturing environment for over 50 years. Classes offered include ballet, creative dance, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, jazz, toddlers, babies, stretch & strengthen, Flamenco, African and more. JODC is also the home of Ballet Northwest, a non-profit dance company that performs The Nutcracker at the Washington Center.

Since 2004, Pole at Play has taught kindred spirits the art of exotic pole dance in downtown Olympia. No matter your age, shape, size, color, gender identity, or physical ability, Pole at Play is honored to accompany you on your pole journey towards a sexier, stronger, happier, more confident and connected YOU! Each month, we offer Pole Dancing 101, a 4-week series of group classes specifically for brand spankin’ new students. But what makes Pole at Play really special is our beautiful community.
